CANSEARCH FAMILY SUPPORT FUND
In order to allow all patients of the Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Unit of the HUG to have access to treatments and medicines which are sometimes expensive and not reimbursed by health insurance in Switzerland, a CANHELP Support Fund for families has been created. It will help families to obtain these. It could also help children and their families to receive certain innovative treatments which are sometimes not available in our country (Phase I-II studies), as well as helping children from Ukraine to be treated at the HUG

POSITION OF DOCTOR SPECIALISED IN THE FOLLOW-UP OF CANCER SURVIVORS
The survival rate of children with cancer in Switzerland is improving year after year, reaching more than 80% globally, but unfortunately this evolution for cancer survivors is often burdened by many side effects. In this context, specialised medical follow-up is necessary until adulthood. To this end, a follow-up consultation for survivors at the HUG will be strengthened, thanks to the recruitment of a doctor, Dr Fabienne Gumy-Pause, whose task will be to continue and perpetuate this support.
SPECIFIC AND INDIVIDUALISED TREATMENT PROGRAMME FOR ADOLESCENTS
In order to offer a personalised and specific follow-up to adolescents who have suffered from paediatric cancer, a special treatment programme will be set up.
