International Day of Child Cancer

On the occasion of the International Day of Child Cancer (15 February), the RTS broadcast an interview with Dr Fabienne GUMY PAUSE, pediatric haematologist-oncologist at HUG and researcher in the CANSEARCH laboratory, Long-term treatments and the creation of a follow-up program within the HUGs for young people cured of cancer.

Race for Gift 2018

For the fifth consecutive year, the CANSEARCH Foundation took part in RACE FOR GIFT (5 & 10km race & 5km walking) on Sunday, May 27th. About fifty participants responded in support of the CANSEARCH Foundation. A huge thank you to everyone for your commitment and generosity!

European Horizon 2020 Grant

CANSEARCH officially received the European Horizon 2020 grant in order to open the SIOPEL liver tumor research program in Switzerland (Hepatoblastoma, Hepatocarcinoma, clinical study CHILTERN-PHITT trial, SPOG as a national sponsor). Geneva is also the national IP of this study which is excellent for the management of oncological liver diseases in Switzerland.

Health Conference, Lausanne

Planète Santé Live, took place in Lausanne at the end of November. This was a meeting of Swiss health leaders, bringing together more than 450 personalities from the world of health, research, politics and economics. Among other things, it aims to provide insight into recent advances in cancer research. Professor Marc Ansari was invited to speak about childhood cancer and therapies emerging from pediatric research.
