The office of the CANSEARCH Foundation is composed of the General Secretary and a person in charge of Donors of the Foundation.

Patricia graduated as a Swiss attorney-at-law and has been active in the philanthropic sector for several years.
For more than twelve years she worked as a legal advisor for Geneva-based fiduciary companies in wealth structuring and estate planning.
She then set up the activities and managed the Fondation Zdenek et Michaela Bakala, a foundation active in education and human rights, as General Secretary.
As member of the Board of Trustees of various foundations and associations in the medical, economic and philanthropic sectors such as Fondation Dr Henri Dubois-Ferrière Dinu Lipatti, the Career Women’s Forum or Swissfoundations and entrusted with a mandate for the Fondation privée des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, Patricia Legler developed a broad knowledge of the Geneva and Swiss philanthropic and associative environment.
Further to obtaining the Bar Exam in Geneva, she completed her studies with a Trust Diploma from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in the Management of Non profit organisations from the University of Geneva, Faculty of Economics.
Patricia is married and mother of two teenage daughters.

Nathalie joined the CANSEARCH Foundation on February 1st, 2017 as a Donor Manager.
Prior to that, she worked at the Geneva State Protocol Service, first as a case manager for international Geneva and NGOs, and then as an executive assistant to oversee the team. The various tasks for which she was responsible on behalf of the Council of State have allowed her to get to know the different circles in Geneva, particularly in political, economic, social and international terms.
Holder of a Diploma from the Institute of Advanced International Studies and Development, she then obtained a Master in European Affairs and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in management of non-profit organizations at the University of Geneva . During various mandates and internships, Nathalie has had very formative professional experiences in non-profit organizations in Switzerland and abroad.
Married, she is the mother of two young boys.
The CANSEARCH Foundation is fortunate to be able to rely on the loyalty and skills of many volunteers, enabling it to minimize its operating costs and to focus on costs and investments related to scientific research.
Volunteer for CANSEARCH since the Foundation's inception in 2011. Stephanie has been helping with various administrative and event-related matters, most notably with the charity evening auction. She enjoys golf in particular and is passionate about art, a field in which she practices professionally. Stephanie is married and the mother of two teenage girls.
Volunteer for CANSEARCH since 2013. Alix has a solid experience as a management assistant in a financial company as well as the supervision and coordination of teams and projects in the services and logistics department of the same company. Alix is married and has three children. She has been devoting herself full-time to family and community life for several years now. In particular, she is very involved in the life of her commune of residence and was a local councillor during the previous legislature. Alix provides us with administrative and logistical support during our charity evenings and various CANDO events.
Volunteer for CANSEARCH since 2018. Valérie previously worked in the field of communication and events, before becoming the Foundation's General Secretary (from 2013 to 2017). She then joined the volunteer team and also helps out with administrative aspects and at events, including the charity evening. She is also President of the Founex Loisirs association. Valérie is married and the mother of two boys.
Volunteer for CANSEARCH since 2014. Originally from Ireland, Cathy arrived in Geneva in 1989 for three months and never left. She worked for 12 years at the GATT/WTO and then decided to devote herself to her family full time. Passionate about golf and travel, she helps the Foundation with many administrative tasks throughout the year and is a member of the Organising Committee for events, including the charity evening. Cathy is married and the mother of two daughters
